2023 Men's Fashion

Introduction

I've been waiting for this day for a long time. The day when I can tell you all the best mens fashion trends to keep up with in the year 2023. I know what you're thinking: "Is there anything new in men's fashion?" It turns out, yes! There are a lot of great trends coming up that will help you look sharp and put together. Here are some things that have changed about men's clothing over the years so far, and how they'll continue to evolve in the future.

Mens fashion

In the future, menswear will continue to be a major part of the male wardrobe. In fact, it's likely that men will still be wearing suits in 2023. But how do you dress for such an occasion? What should you wear with a suit? If you're going on an interview or job interview, what kind of outfit do you need to step up your game? Let's take a look at some of these questions and more!

Mens fashion trends in 2023

What to wear with a suit:

  • If you're going to be wearing a suit, it's best to keep it simple and clean. The more complicated the outfit, the less likely you'll be to get hired in 2023. That said, there are some things that make sense when dressing up for a job interview or other formal event—like accessorizing (this means adding items such as jewelry or accessories) or making sure your clothes fit properly by checking out our guide on how much should fit around your body type!

  • If possible use dark colors like blue or black which will help hide any stains from spills on clothing so they don't show off throughout your day/weekend!

What to wear with a suit

If you're wearing a suit, what should you wear?

  • A tie and shirt are the most common options for men. A striped or patterned tie is a nice touch if it's not too busy. Ties come in different colors and patterns so try some out before your interview!

  • If you have short hair, wear it slicked back with gel or pomade (not petroleum jelly) so that it doesn't look greasy when worn with your suit jacket. This style also works well on men with longer hair who have kept their sideburns trimmed short enough to show off their facial features instead of hiding them behind their headband like many guys do these days!

  • If possible try not to wear socks unless they match perfectly with your shoes—this way people won't notice that there are no other colors going on besides white socks underneath black dress shoes whenever someone looks closely enough at what's happening around them without distractions such as food stains splattered across tablecloth surfaces from previous meals eaten earlier today."

How to dress for a job interview

  • Wear a suit. You should absolutely wear a suit to your job interview, but not just any old suit will do. You want something that is well fitted and fits you well. If it doesn't fit properly, it will be uncomfortable for both yourself and the person interviewing with you.

  • Wear a shirt and tie (or bow tie). The shirt should be off-white or ivory in color, but don't worry about matching exactly; this rule only applies when wearing a dark navy blue button down with jeans/khakis combo!

  • Don't forget about accessories! I recommend adding some patterned socks—they can really add some pop to an outfit while still being stylish enough not ruin their overall look by making them too busy looking like they're trying too hard...or something like that ;)

It's finally here.

It's finally here. The uniform of the future has arrived.

This doesn't mean that you're going to be wearing a suit every day, but it does mean that you'll be dressing differently from how you usually do, and not just in terms of fashion choices.

Conclusion

We hope you enjoyed reading this article and learned some new things about mens fashion.

Who designed Ebuka's Agbada

Ebuka is always known to break the internet every Sunday with his outlandish outfits, pushing the boundaries every time he has to go on that stage while leaving the audience expecting more from him.

For today's live show Ebuka wore a piece by Ugomonye. The same designer responsible for the iconic Agbada worn during Banky W's Traditional marriage.

With elaborate embroideries this  piece is unique because its probably the first time we are seeing a bow worn with an agbada. Taking over 20 hours to hand bead, the robe is  avant-garde and starts a new trend for men in Nigeria.

How To Dress Well: Are They Any Rules?

It is often said that style is  a reflection of who we are, what we like and most importantly what we are comfortable wearing. If all these are true then are there any rules? and if they are should we even pay attention to them?

For the most part rules should be understood as 'accepted principles or instructions that states the way things are or should be done.' and if style is a reflection of oneself, to what extent can we allow fashion rules to determine what we should or should not wear?

To most people these rules can determine how we appear to the extent where they still allow us to show our individual personality. Rules in this sense are only to ensure that we do not go below a minimum level or standard. But, the most important question now is "who sets these rules?" The obvious answer here will be nobody. So, why do we feel obliged to respect these rules?

To most the credibility of these rules are often questioned while some others  painstakingly follow to the latter, in my observation these rules are merely suggestions given based on either common logic or knowledge or on what appears good and appealing to the eye.

However one may feel about these rules or suggestions we should understand that some have lasted for a good number of  generations and have served for a while and as they evolve to meet the aesthetics of the newer generation they continue to play a role in shaping our fashion choices.

Some Invaluable Men's fashion rules that continue to shape our choices include:

1. Invest in a good suit

The fit of  a suit is everything, getting a bespoke is the best as this will be tailored to your body shape and size but when that is a luxury and not feasible when getting one off the wrack one should pay attention to how it fits at the shoulders. A good fit at the shoulders will not only make you appear strong and tall but the chest and waist can easily be altered. The sleeves of the suit should stop at the cuffs, you don't want to look like you borrowed your dad's. The pants should be tailored to enable that clean and sophisticated effortless look.

2. The Right Pair of Shoes

The right type of shoe with the right outfit will not only seal the deal but will enhance your look and confidence. Quality shoes with the right pattern, colour, sole will take your through your fashion journey effortlessly. and with the basic types being derby, oxford , loafers and some boots it will defiantly be easy to navigate.

3. Accessorising the Right Way

The suggestion here is to keep it minimal. Investing in a good piece of watch is a must. A good watch is not necessarily expensive but to choose one that fits your wrist is the goal. Other forms of accessories like rings, bracelets should be incorporated minimally.
